As churches on a budget, finding free quality resources of any kind is like a gold mine! And your worship backgrounds are no exception. So in this video I’m going to show you some of my favorite resources for getting quality motion backgrounds.
The question of the day: What resources have you found for your worship backgrounds? Share with us down in the comments!
The congregation spends a ton of the time looking at the projection screens reading lyrics to the worship songs so we want this area to look great, but most of us are working with a limited budget so when we find a free resource is not just nice but necessary.
Here’s the issue though. Finding resources that are modern and not cheesy, yet also non-distracting, and also free are few and far between.
So I wanted to share with you a golden nugget that I’ve found for media resources for your church.
The first resource i wanna share with you is the awesome backgrounds over at Church Media Drop.
Church Media Drop‘s mission is to create a collection of free media resources for the church to use. From sermon series designs to motion backgrounds they have a ton of free media. Made by the church for the church. All of these designs are curated and uploaded by professionals in this space so you know it’s gonna be good stuff. And it’s all free.
What I love about this site is that it’s not just motion backgrounds, even though they have over 200 different packs of worship backgrounds. They have 170+ sermon series packages, 35 bumper videos, 100+ social media graphics and a bunch more all given by amazing local churches.
These are all professionally designed, like for example this one was created by Pixel Preacher, and we had Alex Watson, the founder of Pixel Preacher on the show with us last year so be sure to check that video out.
So I think this is a cool resource to not only use but to also contribute to! If you have a design or bumper video you are proud of, send it in and help grow that resource for churches.
